Recent Works

risk information

Written for Solo Bassoon and TV Quartet, risk information investigates the space where they timbrally converge. The TVs play samples of themselves, with the individual samples triggered by the bassoonist’s motions.

the motions, the little delays

the motions was written about the brief pauses one may take in their day-to-day lives when overwhelmed by numbness and grief—moments that the musicians embody in the spaces between each sound object they play.

Polarité

Written for Brightwork, a pierrot ensemble, Polarité uses piano prepared with neodymium magnets that alter its timbre, creating resonant bell-like sounds in some places and buzz tones in others.
