speleolux (2026)

speleolux is an interactive light art piece. The installation consists of four interactive pedestals, and forty hanging lights. Viewers are able to bow or touch these pedestals to control the pulsing behavior of the suspended light fixtures. At the same time, ethereal vibraphone samples are triggered and spatialized so that the sound appears to originate from the locations where the lights gradually fade in and out, with the addition of electrical buzzing and crackling added to the soundscape to enhance the overall aesthetic and environment.
